Your audio files

WAVR converts audio entirely inside your web browser. Your files, their contents, their names and their tags are never uploaded, stored or seen by WAVR or anyone else. Converted files exist only in your browser's memory until you download them or close the tab.

Anonymous conversion counter

After each conversion, WAVR sends an anonymous record to its stats service (stats.wavr.website) so it can show how many files have been converted. The record contains the output format, the source file extension, the file size in bytes, the length in seconds and a timestamp. It doesn't contain audio, file names, tags or any identifier for you or your device.

Data stored in your browser

WAVR keeps a list of your recent conversions (the same details as above) in your browser's local storage, so the stats panel can show them if the counter is offline. It stays on your device, and you can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. WAVR doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Hosting

WAVR is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Tips

The tip button opens PayPal in a new tab. Any payment happens on PayPal under PayPal's privacy policy; WAVR receives only what PayPal shares with any payment recipient.
